CARE GUIDE

How to use and care for handmade balls.

Duomio Squishy handmade balls are made for gentle squeezing, texture play, and small calming rituals. A little daily care helps keep the surface clean, soft, and satisfying for longer.

DAILY ROUTINE

Use it gently, keep it clean, store it sealed.

01

Start with clean hands

Clean, dry hands help reduce dust, lint, oils, and surface marks, especially on glossy or transparent handmade balls.

02

Squeeze slowly

Press and release with steady pressure. Avoid sharp nails, pulling, twisting, or stretching the outer skin.

03

Clean only when needed

Use a soft damp cloth and mild soap for small marks. Let the piece air dry fully before putting it away.

04

Store it sealed

Keep your handmade ball in a clean sealed bag or box, away from dust, direct sun, heat, and heavy objects.

05

Respect the material

Handmade balls are tactile collectibles and should never be eaten or chewed.

DO

Refresh with simple care.

Wash and dry your hands before use, wipe the surface with a soft damp cloth when needed, let it air dry fully, and keep it in a sealed bag or display box between play sessions.

DO NOT

Protect the surface and filling.

Do not soak, scrub, puncture, chew, freeze, microwave, leave in direct sunlight, or use alcohol and harsh detergents. Handmade balls are tactile collectibles, not indestructible toys.

Handmade noteTiny color shifts, air bubbles, shape differences, or small surface variations can happen with handmade pieces. These details are part of the small-batch character.
Safety noteDuomio Squishy products are not food. Keep away from babies, pets, sharp objects, and anyone who may bite or swallow small parts. Stop using a piece if it tears or leaks.

CARE FAQ

Good to know before you squeeze.

Can I wash my handmade ball?

For most pieces, use a soft damp cloth and a tiny amount of mild soap if needed. Do not soak it, and let it air dry fully before storage.

What if the surface feels sticky?

Let the piece rest in a cool dry place first. If dust or oils are on the surface, wipe gently with a damp cloth and allow it to dry completely.

Are small bubbles or color differences normal?

Yes. Handmade pieces can have tiny bubbles, soft color shifts, or slight shape differences. They do not usually affect the squeezing experience.

How long will it last?

Lifespan depends on how often it is used, how much pressure is applied, storage conditions, temperature, and the style of the piece.

SLOW RISE CARE GUIDE

What to do if your slow rise squishy flattened.

Slow rise squishies are made from very soft, slow-rebound foam. That gentle texture is exactly why they feel so satisfying, and also why they can sometimes be compressed during shipping.

RECOVERY METHODS

From gentle rest to careful repair.

01

Rest-and-relax method

Take it out of the packaging and place it in a ventilated spot. Some pieces recover within a few hours; heavily compressed ones may need a full day or longer.

02

Gentle hand-shaping

Gently squeeze from different sides, especially from the edges toward the center. For surface creases, softly open the folded area and smooth it with your fingers.

03

Moisture rescue

For stubborn creases, use only a little moisture. Wrap the squishy in a damp towel or wet wipe that has been wrung out so it does not drip, then leave it overnight.

04

Warm-air reshaping

Use a hair dryer on a low warm setting, keep it moving, and do not focus on one spot. Stop often and check the temperature with your hand.

05

Small tear repair

Apply a tiny amount of suitable glue inside a small tear, press the edges together, wipe away extra glue, and let it cure fully before squeezing again.

START HERE

Try the safest methods first.

Begin with resting in a ventilated space, then gentle hand-shaping. If you use any moisture, keep it minimal and let the squishy air dry fully before storage or play.

AVOID

Do not rush the foam.

Do not rinse under running water, soak, scrub, twist, pull, bite, or blast one spot with high heat. Too much water can affect the slow-rise feel, and too much heat can dry or damage the foam.

Material and production noteSlow rise toys are made with soft slow-rebound foam and a delicate surface finish. Because the material is very soft, pressure from packaging and transit can temporarily flatten the shape.
Repair noteFor small tears, use only a tiny amount of suitable glue and let it cure fully before squeezing again. Stop using a toy if damage becomes large, sharp, sticky, or unsafe.

SLOW RISE SQUISHY FAQ

Quick answers for flattened squishies.

Will a flattened slow rise squishy recover by itself?

Light compression often improves after the squishy rests in a ventilated space. Heavier compression can take a full day or longer.

Can I wash my slow rise squishy with water?

No. Do not rinse or soak a slow rise squishy. If a small amount of moisture is used for a stubborn crease, let the piece air dry fully.

Why does warm air sometimes make it feel drier?

Too much heat can dry or damage the foam. Use only low warm air, keep it moving, and stop often to check the temperature.

Which repair method should I try first?

Start with resting in a ventilated spot, then try gentle hand-shaping. Move to moisture or low warm air only for stubborn marks.
